Author Platform Challenge

This page has been created as a hang out for all of those who are joining me in Robert Lee Brewer’s fabulous How to Build (or Improve) Your Writer Platform in 30 Days challenge!

Mr. Brewer presented this challenge on his blog during the month of April 2012. As a writer, I initially joined the challenge on April 1st and began working. However, less than a week into the challenge life happened and I had to drop out. Refusing to let life get in the way of completing this excellent platform building exercise, I decided to start the challenge again, this time with those who read and follow the W.I.N. at Writing blog. The original post from this blog can be found here. Thus, this page was born…

Sooooooooooooooo, there’s just three rules:

  1. The challenge kicks off on this blog on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, and will continue for 30 consecutive days.
  2. Follow all the rules as Mr. Brewer has laid out.
  3. Come to this page and post your progress and thoughts. Share as much, or as little, as you would like.

The full challenge can be found on Mr. Brewer’s “My Name is Not Bob” blog. I have created a link directly to his original article below to give us all easy access back to the challenge. Don’t forget to come here and share your daily progress with those who will be joining in the challenge here! Good luck and enjoy!!!

  1. DAY 3! How are we making out? Have you been able to define yourself and to set your goals? Today we’re joining (or fixing lol) Facebook! Can’t wait to see what today’s challenge brings.

Anyone care to share their definition or their goals?

  2. In one sentence who am I?
Kymberleigh Anne is a mother, wife, author, and entrepreneur who brings empowerment and encouragement to the world through her writing, with the goal being to write to inspire and nurture.

  3. We are a week into this challenge. How is everyone making out?

By now, everyone should have a Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn (today) accounts. You should also have a blog. And you should have defined yourself, set your goals, read someone’s blog and commented, and decided if you wanted different share buttons. I hope you all are on track!

If you joined the challenge with me (Ms. Hosby!), then please comment here and leave us your Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn account information so we can follow/friend you. Also, let us know where your new blog is so we can support your efforts there as well.

    Keep up the challenge!

I love comments! Let's get the discussion going...
